Organic blueberry exports from Chile

Export season
Direct exports of organic blueberries run from December through early March, under supply programs agreed in advance.
This planning allows us to organize availability, formats, consolidation and transit times, reducing improvisation and improving our response to every buyer.
International markets
Our shipments mainly serve demand in European markets such as Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, as well as the United States, on both the East and West Coasts.
We are also constantly looking for new alternatives to diversify our offer and open commercial relationships with buyers who value certified, traceable organic fruit.
Packaging formats for fresh fruit
We work with fresh fruit formats that can be adapted to the requirements of the buyer and the destination market.
The final format should be defined according to program, destination, availability and commercial specifications. Our team can provide up-to-date information to assess alternatives for each season.

Organic production available
Fundo El Rodeo has 32 hectares planted with organic blueberries in production, including varieties such as Duke, Legacy, Blue Ribbon, Cargo and Brightwell. Our combined production reaches 500 tons. Exports take place in December, January, February and March of each season.
Thanks to our solid reputation as a reliable supplier, our current production is projected to grow over the coming seasons, keeping our focus on excellent quality, condition and compliance with standards. We are also planning an expansion with a Premium varieties project.
Duke
December–January
An early-maturing variety. Quality fruit of uniform size. Cold storage improves its flavor. A good product for mechanical harvesting and for sales as fresh and processed fruit.
Legacy
December–January
Slow growing in its first years. Good fruit quality and great flavor.
It also performs well under mechanical harvesting. Pruning requires technique and a different approach to other varieties.
Blue Ribbon
December–January
Season and harvest: Early to mid-season ripening, starting just after varieties such as Duke or Draper.
Fruit: Large, light blue berries, very firm and with a well-balanced sweet flavor. Excellent post-harvest shelf life.
Plant: A bush with an open, spreading growth habit and high vigor that requires care and training pruning in its first years.
Cargo
January
Season and harvest: Mid to late-season ripening, coinciding with the start of the Brightwell season.
Fruit: Large, round, very uniform fruit with great firmness that holds up well in cold storage.
Plant: A very vigorous plant with an upright habit. As its name suggests, it produces a very high volume of fruit, so active, precise pruning is essential to balance yield and foliage.
Brightwell
January–February
A very popular variety, widely grown in Chile. It stands out for its high productivity, firm fruit with excellent flavor and light blue skin. The plants are vigorous, upright and highly resistant to adverse weather conditions.
